Project Engineer I, II, III - Mechanical Systems

Overview

ES3 is seeking to hire an Entry Level or Mid-Level mechanical engineer responsible for performing a variety of mechanical engineering functions, which primarily include, but are not limited to :

• Dynamic modeling and real-time hardware in the loop simulation
• Instrumentation design
• Test execution and support
• Data analysis and documentation

The engineer must have experience with Matlab and would benefit from a working knowledge of Simulink. Being a good problem solver, self-motivated and having the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment will set you apart from other candidates for this position.

This is a matrixed position where you will support several project managers in the execution of instrumentation efforts, data acquisition planning, simulation design / execution, data analysis, and report generation.

This Engineering position is planned for our Layton, Utah engineering office. This facility boasts private offices, more than 75 engineers, scientists, and technicians, along with proximity to our 240,000 square foot aerospace R&D laboratory, prototyping, testing, and production center. ES3 also has facilities in downtown San Diego, California; Warner Robins, Georgia; Midwest City, Oklahoma and Abilene, Texas.
