Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO seeks an experienced level 5 Program Planning Manager to join our team in support of the Space Protection Programs (SPP) Alpha and Advanced Capabilities programs portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the program planning efforts, ensuring the development and execution of comprehensive plans to meet program objectives and requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of program management principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Lead the program planning team in the development of detailed plans, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Organizational Breakdown Structures (OBS), and Resource Breakdown Structures (RBS)
- Collaborate with program stakeholders to ensure plans align with program objectives and customer requirements
- Conduct risk management and mitigation planning to ensure program success
- Develop and maintain program management artifacts, including program schedules, budgets, and status reports
- Provide program planning support to program managers, including development of program management plans, schedules, and budgets
- Ensure compliance with Lockheed Martin policies, procedures, and standards
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
- Lead and participate in program reviews, including Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and Earned Value Management (EVM) reviews
