Medical Assitant Lead

Overview

Alliance Cancer Specialists is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant for our Bux-Mont Division (Doylestown and Sellersville practices) to join our dedicated team in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to oncology patients.This role supports the Nursing Supervisor by coordinating daily clinical operations and ensuring smooth patient flow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do :

• Coordinate daily room assignments and Medical Assistant schedules
• Assist in supervising and training Medical Assistants and non-licensed clinical staff
• Support physicians and clinicians with patient care, exams, and procedures
• Escort patients, record vital signs, update medication lists, and prepare exam rooms
• Administer injections (subcutaneous and intramuscular) and perform phlebotomy as needed
• Handle patient calls, prescription refills, and appointment scheduling
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with pre-authorizations and referrals
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and clinic disinfection protocols
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain sample and indigent drug programs
