Job Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsible for the continued accurate and efficient operation and functions of the Leave of Absence Management System(s).

Includes troubleshooting problems and issues, training, programming (as appropriate), reporting and auditing while adhering to Matrix Best Practices.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Troubleshoots problems / issues in LeaveLink. Escalates issue to vendor (Absentys) as appropriate.
  • Programs client letters, policy changes in LeaveLink.
  • QA all aspects of programming in UAT during implementation and in production prior to go-live dates for all new clients.
  • Assists in testing all new functionality being programmed into LeaveLink.
  • Assists in developing process flows for new enhancements as well as new modules as they are released.
  • Assists in developing training for all new enhancements and modules, as well as annual LOA road show training.
  • May also be called upon to complete audits and prepare statistical and productivity reports.
  • Assists client teams and district offices during emergency situations.
  • Provides support to the implementation teams for premium billing implementations.
  • Testing for Premium Billing & Collection data feeds and process flows.
  • Performs various client, examiner and claim audits as needed.
  • May be involved in LOA claims management for RSL and Matrix employees.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education, Qualifications and Experience :

  • College degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent of at least three to five years experience working with leave of absence claims either in the capacity of a HR professional or a claims examiner.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an Integrated Claims Examiner-LOA.
  • PHR Certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to leaves of absence.
  • Must have an aptitude for logic and systems programming.
  • Ability to think in an analytical manner for troubleshooting and program design.
  • Excellent math and reading comprehension skills.
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow through on commitments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience in providing internal and external customer service.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost judgment and discretion.

Work location may be flexible if approved by the Company.
