As an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment. Your presence and regular patrols will help to deter security-related incidents, while your strong communication and customer service skills will support positive interactions with visitors and staff. Pay Rate : $21.05 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to maintain order on site.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and check for any irregularities.
  • Observe and report any unusual circumstances or security-related concerns encountered during patrols in the technology, media, and telecommunications environment.
  • Assist with access control for authorized personnel and visitors as directed by site policies.
  • Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding incidents, issues, or site-specific needs.
  • Support other Allied Universal team members in upholding security-related procedures and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
