Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering's Design Build / Alternative Delivery team are driving clients to turn to Kiewit during all stages of design-build projects to manage their multi-disciplined design teams to improve schedule, control costs and minimize risk. Our construction-focused engineers work collaboratively with our estimators and builders to design solutions that are innovative, constructible, and designed with a focus on safety. They analyze problems, determine root causes, and resolve design issues before they impact schedule and budget. Particularly on large design-build projects, clients benefit from the proven processes and tools used by Kiewit to minimize project risk. We are an in-house resource that supports projects throughout the company. Our staff shares experiences gained, innovative concepts, and best design practices for all projects that we support.

Location

This role will be based out of our Lone Tree, Colorado location. We offer relocation assistance for candidates outside of the area.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems including highway / street lighting, power distribution, and traffic signal systems for transportation infrastructure projects.
• Prepare electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and construction documents using MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, conduit fill calculations, and cost estimates.
• Conduct lighting contour analysis and ensure compliance with AASHTO and NEC standards.
• Review contractor submittals and manufacturer specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with utility providers and internal teams during all phases of design and construction.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary project teams and support project delivery from concept through construction.
• Lead a team of engineers / designers, as a project discipline lead, to perform the above lighting-electrical tasks.

Base Compensation : $105,000 / yr-$119,000 / yr

(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and / or location)
