Are you a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse seeking a dynamic outpatient role? UPMC is hiring a part-time outpatient Professional Staff Nurse to support our Bayfront ENT office. This position is expected to work from 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm, 3 days one week and 2 to 3 days the next week, totaling 5 to 6 days per bi-weekly pay period.

Primary responsibilities will include allergy shots and testing and mixing serums. The selected candidate will also assist providers with rooming patients and performing procedures.

Responsibilities :

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities, sharing insights with colleagues, and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
• Establish and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with executives, physicians, healthcare teams, patients, and families to support high-quality care.

• Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation to enhance communication and improve patient safety and quality of care.

• They must also demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his / her age-specific needs and to provide the care needs as described in the department policy and procedures.
• Minimum six months experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
