Job descriptionPatient Demographics : All ages Patient Volume / Census : Approximately 15 cases / month Admissions : Yes Rounding : Included Phone Consults : Yes Case Mix : Obstetrics, Gynecology, Laparoscopic GYN procedures No. of Beds in Department : Part of 40-bed hospital EMR System : Epic Office Equipment Available : Standard OB / GYN clinical and surgical equipment Specialty Backup Available : Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs), CRNA for anesthesia, Family Medicine MD for newborn care, 2 full-time OB / GYNs, and 2 consistent locums Support Staff Available : CNMs, CRNA, Family Medicine MD, OB / GYN colleagues Reason for Coverage : Vacancy until permanent hire is made Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Temporary Privileges Available : Not specified Credentialing Timeline : Less than 30 days for locums Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES Obstetric deliveries Laparoscopic gynecologic surgery Emergency OB / GYN interventions Licenses : Oregon medical license (willing to license if not held) Board : Board Certified in Obstetrics / Gynecology DEA : Active DEA required Experience : Minimum 2 years in OB / GYN practice Other Qualifications : Proficiency with laparoscopic GYN cases
