We have a client in Louisville KY that has an immediate need for a Safety Coordinator Manager that will be responsible for safe, accurate, timely implementation of safety training and following all applicable protocols including OSHA 1926 and MSHA 488 for all field employees.

5 plus years of leadership in Safety in a Construction or Industrial setting

OSHA 1926 and / or MSHA 488 instructors cards preferred or achievable within 3-5 years.

Execute periodic OSHA & MSHA training for new hire candidates and existing crew refresher courses.

Provide input to sales in the job quoting process to ensure adequate safety considerations are met.

Maintain 3rd party safety training compliance sites (ISNet, Avetta, Gatefeed, TappiSafe, etc.).

Audit district personnel to ensure OSHA & MSHA training compliance.

Research, implement and communicate the most current alerts and guidance from OSHA & MSHA.

Travel as necessary to support district job planning, employee training and audits.

Serve as resident expert regarding safety compliance at and customer sites.

Manage and control costs of safety program.

Fulfill First Aid and Introductory Rigging training requirements for crew.

Identification of and maintenance of inventory of safety training materials.
