Overview
Step into an instrumental role in a fast-paced and friendly financial planning office. Work as a full-time employee of an independent advisor franchisee with a Private Wealth Financial Advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial. You will support 3 advisors and have your own assistant. The position is on site in the office Monday – Thursday and remote on Fridays.
Responsibilities
- Assist financial advisors and associate financial advisors in managing and organizing office workflow with an emphasis on creating and delivering a unique client experience that defines and differentiates the practice.
- Maintain high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others and / or performing work activities.
- Provide client relationship support through interacting directly with clients to ensure accurate account set up and serve as a liaison to answer client questions.
- Perform other practice management tasks relating to client service as needed.
- Respond to ad hoc requests, coordinate / tracks projects and / or manage business-as-usual projects such as organizing a client appreciation event.
- Responsibilities and time allocation will change over time to meet the needs of the practice and may include other duties as assigned by the advisor.
Position Functions
50% Business ManagementWork with home office to ensure accurate account setup and resolve issues.
Answer questions and provide readily available information to clients, as requested and as allowable, related to servicing their accounts.Maintain files and records in accordance with the records retention policy.Perform other allowable duties as assigned by the financial advisors and associate financial advisors, including trades and money movement.Provide insight and recommendations to effectively use key tools (CRM, MOD, YEXT, Go Social, Advisor website, etc.) that help lead to results in practice.Coordinate and effectively manage your assistant using the CRM task system and weekly supervision meetings.50% Client CareSet up and maintain client management system.
Call, email or text clients or prospects to set up meetings or appointments.Attend and participate in client meetings if necessary.Conduct transaction requests as directed by financial advisor(s) and associate financial advisor(s).Coordinate client appreciation events and seminars.Answer unsolicited calls from prospects to schedule appointments or refer to advisor.Qualifications and Requirements
College degree or higher. Similar experience is a plus.Licensing is not required but will be made available.Benefits
