Overview

This position is responsible for IBM iSeries Systems and other Infrastructure responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced level knowledge of the OS / 400 operating system, DB2 database, security and query skills
• Experience with installing Cumulative, High Impact PERvasive (HIPER), and Group PTFs
• Experience with performing OS, VIOS, Power firmware, and HMC upgrades
• Knowledge of how to troubleshoot ACS client issues running on Windows and MAC
• Ability to provide support to development staff as needed
• Experience with using RPG change management tool to promote code changes to development, QA and production. Experience with Aldon LMi software a plus
• Experience with managing storage-based replication such as IBM Global Mirror
• Experience with IBM FlashCopy toolkit and BRMS to manage backup as well as restore processes on the iSeries
• Ability to work with end users to troubleshoot and answer technical questions
• Ability to manage the relationship with external vendors to resolve problems and repairs

Required Qualifications

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $125,000 - $135,000. Ranges are based on various factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
