• Description : Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a full-time Pediatric Hospitalist to join our practice at The Children s Medical Center at Summerlin Hospital in Summerlin NV. Outstanding opportunity to join a well-established Pediatric Hospitalist practice.Job Description : At least 1 year of current inpatient Hospitalist work experience is required. Must be able to provide at interview the last 12 months' worth of case logs from a hospital setting. 2 Hospitalists inhouse during the dayVaried shifts - combination of in-house and call from home. 34-bed pediatric floor covered by the 5-physician team of Pediatric HospitalistsPediatric floor average daily census of 2412-bed PICU covered by our affiliated practice of Pediatric IntensivistsNICU and newborn nursery is managed by our affiliated Neonatology practiceFull-fledged children's hospital with well represented sub-specialties and a dedicated Pediatric EDAcademic affiliation with a pediatric residency program with opportunities to mentor teach and train pediatric residents and medical studentsRobust quality improvement program and opportunities for clinical research if desiredAt least 1 year of current inpatient Hospitalist work experience is required. Must be able to provide at interview the last 12 months' worth of case logs from a hospital setting.This is a full-time permanent position that may require residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.
