Qualifications :

HD Microsystems has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an interim Quality Leader based in Parlin, NJ. This role will be responsible for leading a group of 3 quality engineers and 1 supplier quality engineer. The quality leader role is intended to lead a team that ensures the HDM business is upholding all aspects of the quality policy, quality management system (QMS), and ISO9001 certification requirements. This includes working closely with HDM's customers to ensure their needs / issues are addressed, driving the current quality roadmap strategy, and working cross-functionally with other departments in the business to drive and support quality expectations.

HD MicroSystems (HDM) is a 50-50 joint venture of Resonac and DuPont. HD MicroSystems is the world's largest supplier of polyimide and PBO precursor chemistries specifically engineered for microelectronic applications. Applied and cured by our customers, these materials transform into polyimide and PBO films with unique end-use properties. HDM's product line is broad, consisting of photosensitive coatings, standard non-photosensitive coatings, high-temperature adhesives, optically clear coatings, and a full line of complementary ancillary products.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science / Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is required.
• 5+ years combined experience in manufacturing, Quality, or Continuous Improvement Engineering is required. Semiconductor industry or related experience desirable.
• 3+ years people leadership experience is required.
• Experience with External Communications to Vendors and / or Customers is required.
• Demonstrated understanding of statistical techniques including DOE, Control Charts, Gage R&R, ANOVA is required.
• Ability to oversee a team and make good engineering judgments on their work is required.
• Required to have proficient computer skills such as advanced Excel and PowerPoint use.
• Experience using a statistical software program (e.g., Minitab, JMP) is required.
• Demonstrated experience with risk tools such as C&E and FMEAs is preferred.
• Polyimide related knowledge, analytical and material characterization techniques, and results interpretation skills are preferred.
• Experience working and managing projects in a global environment (both internal and external) with communications across cultures is preferred.
• 6-sigma project certification is preferred.
