New Instructional Leadership Specialist : Secondary Science

The Instructional Leadership Specialist collaborates with district and school leaders to facilitate and execute the district's Strategic Plan with fidelity and integrity. An Instructional Leadership Specialist spends a portion of time in classrooms modeling, coaching, co-teaching, and demonstrating standards-based best practices; reviews data, leads meetings, and provides professional development; and instructs students as part of their schedule.

The primary role is to lead and coach adults by planning, implementing, and supporting rigorous standards-based instruction, designing model classrooms for demonstration, and facilitating the planning and implementation of lessons in response to student data.
