SDA Systems Integration Engineer

Overview / Job Responsibilities

Sev1Tech is searching for an SDA Systems Integration Engineer with experience in engineering oversight or acquisition of Del 2, Del 4, or Del 5 sensor systems (i.e., phased array or mechanical radar, optical space surveillance sensors, and / or space-based systems) or Command and Control (C2) missions (i.e., 18 Space Defense Squadron (SDS), 19 SDS, National Space Defense Center (NSDC)).

Minimum Qualifications

In support of the Chief Engineer, this position will be expected to perform the following tasks as needed :

• Provide technical recommendation support services, including reviews, studies, audits, evaluations, analyses, scientific and procedural guidance, documentation, technical analysis, and support of associated engineering IPTs.
• Coordinate with and provide inputs to the resolution of system issues and deficiencies with prime contractors, depot contractors, and other support contractors.
• Provide input during the development of overarching system requirements and design documentation, including technical requirements (TRD), capability description documents (CDD), capability production documents (CPD), interface control documents (ICD), system specifications, system documentation, and test acceptance documentation.
• Support the development of system integration plans, procedures, and scenarios.
• Provide support for the identification of development and sustainment risks in support of government activities; support government-led technology insertion and risk reduction strategies, studies, and recommendations to mitigate identified risk conditions.

Salary Range : $125,000 to $137,000
