As a Contracts Specialist, working with legal counsel, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and flagging issues for various types of commercial contracts for our business, ensuring we have compliant Certificates of Insurance for our events, and providing administrative support for all legal matters.

This is a remote position, but Denver, CO or Bay Area, CA candidates are preferred. Responsibilities Support drafting and editing sales and vendor contracts using established template agreements.

Work with our legal team to draft contracts for any non-standard agreements. Proofread, edit, and fact-check legal documents for accuracy and consistency Evaluate contract terms, identify potential risks, and propose solutions to mitigate risks.

Ensure compliance with the company's policies and applicable laws. Analyze and support the negotiation of complex contract provisions.

Bring issues up to the legal team and business leadership and work towards a resolution. Manage approvals, tracking statuses, communicating with stakeholders and securing sign-off of final agreements Manage contract templates and documentation, organize records, and ensure accurate and timely contract administration.

Review all necessary Certificates of Insurance for event vendors to ensure we are in compliance with what is required by the sales contracts.

Work with vendors to get any COI issues corrected in a timely manner. Proactively identify and implement operational improvements and enhancements that meet business requirements Communicate daily with Sales, Operations and Finance teams on signed deals as needed Requirements Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role for a small company Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contract drafting and certificates of insurance in California and / or Colorado Strong written and oral communication skills Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite and DocuSign Bonus : Experience with real estate law and liquor law Hours, Pay and Benefits Compensation is $60k to $80k depending on experience with potential for bonuses based on profitability;
