The Mannik & Smith Group (MSG) is seeking a full-time Structural Drafter to join our team and work on impactful bridge and transportation projects across Ohio. If you have a passion for producing precise, construction-ready drawings and want to contribute to projects that improve communities, this role is a perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As a Structural Drafter , you’ll be at the heart of our bridge design projects, producing high-quality construction documents and supporting the full design process :

• Develop and produce detailed drawings in MicroStation to meet ODOT and local agency standards
• Prepare construction plans ready for bidding and construction
• Assist with data preparation and quantity calculations for engineering plans
• Plot, collate, and compile plan sets for agency and construction submittals
• Support general office tasks such as document prep, scanning, and filing as needed

Contribute to presentations and project deliverables, ensuring clarity and accuracy

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

What You Bring

5+ years of experience in civil / structural engineering drafting

2+ years of bridge design experience required

Proficiency in MicroStation

Working knowledge of MS Office

Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
