Travel Nursing Job Details

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Contract

Healthcare Setting : Emergency Room, Level I Trauma Center

Start Date : December 1, 2025

End Date : March 2, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night Shift, 4x12-hour shifts per week (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 48 hours required

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1780-$1910

On-Call : As needed

Weekend Requirement : As needed (must be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays if applicable)

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience (Level I Trauma Center experience required)

At least 1 completed previous travel nursing assignment

Valid driver’s license required with application

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

COVID-19 vaccine not required

Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)

Cerner electronic charting experience preferred

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher

Willingness to float between similar units and campuses within 20 miles as needed

All requested time off must be submitted with application

ER RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Room setting

Respond rapidly and effectively to trauma and emergency situations

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Accurately document all patient care and interventions using Cerner (preferred)

Comply with hospital policies, safety, and infection control protocols

Float to similar units as required

Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training
