Job descriptionLead strategic initiatives that enhance the customer experience and operational performance in Surgical Services. Participate in hospital-wide and departmental committees, serving as a key liaison for perioperative operations. Mentor and coach subordinate leaders, providing feedback, supporting career development, and fostering high engagement. Communicate organizational goals, policy updates, and industry trends effectively to staff. Design and implement evidence-based standards of care and ensure compliance with all regulatory and accrediting requirements. Develop and maintain a performance improvement (PI) program that monitors quality metrics and drives excellence in surgical outcomes. Build strong collaborative relationships across departments and external partners to achieve organizational goals. Drive talent development, succession planning, and professional growth within perioperative leadership teams. Establish and execute a long-term strategic vision for surgical services that aligns with the hospital’s mission and growth objectives. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required Master’s degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred Minimum 3 years of experience in Surgical Services required Minimum 3 years in a leadership role preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state required CNOR and / or CSSM certification preferred

- Will oversee 100+ FTE's
