Travel RN – Critical Care (Adult PACU) – Eve / Nights

Location : Syracuse, NY

Start Date : 9 / 19 / 2025

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift Type : Evenings / Nights

Shift Times : 11 : 00 AM – 11 : 30 PM & 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM (12-hour shifts)

Schedule : 6 shifts in a two-week period

Weekend Requirements : Every third weekend

On Call Requirements : None

Job Summary :

Seeking experienced Critical Care RNs for the Adult PACU / Recovery Room. PACU experience preferred but critical care experience is required. This is a 13-week contract providing pre- and post-operative patient care with minimal orientation.

Qualifications :

Current New York State RN license

BLS certification (current, with ability to recertify)

Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience in hospitals of similar size or trauma level

EPIC EMR experience preferred

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Duties :

Perform majority of patient care skills in PACU and pre / post-op critical care

Conduct thorough nursing assessments in the acute care setting with minimal supervision

Provide safe, high-quality care to post-operative and critically ill patients
