Director of Operations Home Infusion Pharmacy | Direct Hire

Location : Columbus, OH

Schedule : Monday Friday | 8 : 30 AM 5 : 00 PM | No weekends

A leading home infusion pharmacy in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Operations for a full-time, direct hire leadership role . This position offers the opportunity to oversee and grow a multi-disciplinary infusion pharmacy team, ensuring operational excellence, pliance with regulatory standards, and outstanding patient outes.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed pharmacist with proven home infusion management experience , strong business acumen, and a collaborative leadership style.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily operations across pharmacy, nursing, intake, billing / revenue cycle, and business development

Partner with corporate teams to align local market strategy with organizational goals

Monitor and evaluate financial performance (P&L) and implement improvement initiatives

Direct the hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of staff and department managers

Ensure pliance with USP

, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards (ACHC, URAC, Joint mission)

Oversee workflow for prescription processing, sterile pounding, packaging, and shipping of infusion medications

Drive quality assurance and continuous performance improvement programs

Foster strong relationships with patients, payors, referral sources, and healthcare partners to support business growth

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; PharmD or Masters degree in Pharmacy / Healthcare Administration preferred

Active and unrestricted Ohio Pharmacist license

Minimum 5 years of pharmacy management / operations leadership , preferably in home infusion or specialty pharmacy

Proven success in regulatory pliance, accreditation surveys, and quality improvement initiatives

Strong skills in financial oversight, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership

Excellent munication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); CareTend or infusion pharmacy systems experience a plus
