Pay Information

$2,700 per day

About The Position

Seeking a locum anesthesiologist to provide 24-hour OB and general anesthesia coverage. The role involves hospital-only inpatient care across multiple surgical services including OB, general surgery, ortho, urology, plastic surgery, and GI.

Job Responsibilities :

Provide anesthesia services for OB, general surgery, limited ortho, urology, plastic surgery, and GI procedures
Cover 24-hour OB call and general surgical cases as scheduled
Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure safe anesthesia management
Maintain proper documentation in Cerner EMR system

Offering Rates : $2,700 for 24 Hour On-call and the callback rate is $400.00 / hr

Job Requirements

Board Certified or working toward BC – REQUIRED

Active Iowa License or IMLC with LOQ – REQUIRED

Prior experience in anesthesia – REQUIRED

Clean malpractice record and background – REQUIRED
