Job Summary :
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides compassionate, resident-centered care to our long-term care residents. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), you will assist residents with their daily living activities, ensure a high standard of care through effective communication and documentation, and contribute to creating a nurturing environment.
Your Responsibilities Include :
Providing personal care, including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.Performing vital sign checks and documenting resident care details.Supporting residents during meals and ensuring positive dining experiences.Encouraging participation in wellness and recreational activities.Assisting with housekeeping and laundry to maintain cleanliness in living areas.Collaborating with nursing staff to ensure quality care and safety.Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED preferred.Minimum age of 16 required; previous clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.Must have or obtain Certified Nursing Assistant certification within four months of hire.Commitment to annual continuing education requirements and departmental competence.For specific roles within applicable states, registration with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry may be necessary.Benefits :
