Driver- CDL (B)

A Driver- CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and providing prompt, courteous and complete waste removal services for customers. In addition, a Driver CDL (B) is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is in compliance with the company's safety standards and adheres to all company, state and federal regulations. The driver completes vehicle condition reports to ensure any vehicle defects are repaired in a timely manner. Responsibilities include performing complete pre- and post-operation inspections, safely operating the truck along the designated route, interacting courteously with customers and others, monitoring waste for evidence of unacceptable waste, cleaning the area around accidental waste spills, and maintaining the vehicle's operational readiness.

Minimum requirements include a Class B or higher commercial driver's license with air brakes endorsement. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $32.15 per hour, a $5,000 retention bonus, and boots and uniforms provided. Additional training opportunities and a bonus plan are available.
