As a Security Professional - Armed Government Facility Patrol in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help prevent incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, adhering to protocols specific to government locations.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Assist visitors and employees by providing information and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Document observations and incidents clearly and accurately, reporting as required by Allied Universal and the client site guidelines.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary during critical situations or emergencies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Possession of an unarmed private investigator license is preferred.
