The mission of the Louisiana Veterans Homes is to primarily serve the Veterans' population of Louisiana through the provision of medical, restorative, and rehabilitative services in an atmosphere of respect and compassion. The primary objective of the home is to provide quality nursing care to eligible veterans with the ultimate goal of returning the veterans to the highest possible levels of physical and mental capacity.
We're looking for a compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse to provide quality nursing care to residents in stable and predictable conditions at Northeast Louisiana Veterans Home , in accordance with the Professional Nurses Practice Act.

Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a current Louisiana Practical Nurse license, a temporary permit, or a multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC / eNLC) state.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties :
As a LPN, you will implement selective aspects of the nursing care plan, i.e., comfort, hygiene, safety measures, nutrition, etc., under progressively more generalized supervision from a Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse of a higher level.

Work Schedule : Day Shift (6 : 45a-7 : 15p)Night Shift (6 : 45p-7 : 15a)
Compensation : This position receives Premium Pay of $7.00 per hour physically worked and shift differentials, with additional rates based on the shift worked per applicable pay policies.
