Must-Have :

Previous travel experience required

Level I Nursery experience required

LDRP experience required

Experience circulating for C-sections required

Experience in postpartum care required

Description :

Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position available.

Previous travel experience is mandatory.

Start dates are flexible and can be any Wednesday.

The shift is a 4x12 day shift, with hours from 07 : 00 to 19 : 30.

The traveler will be required to work weekends as needed by the unit.

Specific weekends to work will be determined by the unit's needs.

There is no on-call requirement for this position.

Holidays will be worked as needed.

Patient ratios during the day are 1 : 1 to 1 : 2 and during the night are also 1 : 1 to 1 : 2.

No first-time travelers will be accepted for this position.

A pending Oregon License will be accepted with proof of application and fingerprints.

Travelers are expected to float within the facility and across the system.

Refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation.

Local candidates are not accepted for this role.

Finalized requests for time off must be included with submission.

No time off will be allowed within the first week of the start date.

No more than 7 days of time off per assignment is permitted.

The role requires completion of any assigned education within one week of the assignment.

Candidates will be required to submit a statement regarding their background with no felony hits.

References from a charge nurse, supervisor, or manager are required.

Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Daily census is approximately 7 to 10 patients.

The unit is multifaceted, handling various aspects of labor and delivery.

Typical procedures include antepartum care, labor management, various deliveries, and maternal postpartum care.

The nurse will also provide breastfeeding assistance and education.

Additional responsibilities will include newborn care, stabilization, and care of GYN patients.
