Overview
CHIEF OBJECTIVES OF THIS POSITION :
The Onsite Audio Video Technician provides exemplary support and services to our clients in all duties, including setting up and operating various scaled audiovisual systems, with a specialty in audio, video, computers, HSIA, audio conferencing, video conferencing, webcasting, and basic lighting for different types of programs. They will be personable and client-focused, with problem-solving skills that can be applied in various types of environments and situations.

General Responsibilities
Equipment Preparation
Oversee organization, staging, and maintenance of audio gear in the warehouse.
Test, configure, and troubleshoot PA systems, mixing consoles, wireless microphones, and in-ear monitor (IEM) systems before the event deployment.
Ensure all audio gear is road-ready, labeled, and adequately packed before being sent to event sites.
Maintain an inventory management system for all audio equipment, cables, and accessories.
Inspect and repair faulty cables, connectors, and damaged equipment to ensure reliability.
Work with the logistics team to ensure timely equipment pull, loading, and returns.
Technical Expertise & System Optimization
Calibrate and align speakers, amplifiers, and DSPs for optimal performance.
Program and test digital audio networks (Dante, AES, MADI) for streamlined event setups.
Perform RF frequency coordination for wireless systems and assist with interference mitigation.
Ensure firmware updates and software patches are applied to all audio equipment.
Press Collaboration
Train the Operations Team on equipment setup and maintenance.
Assign tasks and oversee warehouse workflow to ensure efficiency.
Work closely with the production team to meet specific technical requirements for events.
Enforce safety procedures and best practices for handling audio equipment in the warehouse.
Maintenance & Inventory Management
Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance on all audio equipment.
Track equipment rentals and work with vendors for repairs or gear replacements.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse audio operations.
Monitor stock levels of consumables such as batteries, gaff tape, and connectors.
Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for necessary repairs or equipment upgrades.
Ensure all software and firmware updates are current and have been tested.
