A facility in Burke County, NC is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for their Hematology/Oncology opening. This position is Monday through Friday day shift. In this role, you will work with a diverse range of hematology and oncology patients, including those with benign hematology conditions such as anemia or clotting disorders. A key responsibility is preparing patients for chemotherapy treatments by assessing their readiness and providing necessary education. You will ensure patients understand their treatment plans, potential side effects, and what to expect during their chemotherapy journey, particularly when treatments are new or changing.
