Summary

QuickTie is a rapidly growing manufacturer of building materials for the construction industry. Since the company’s founding 25 years ago, we’ve continued to improve our employee offerings and culture and have established a long-tenured, hard-working but collegial team.

This position will work closely with engineers, project managers, sales team, production staff and customers to collect and analyze data to estimate the cost of a project. The Estimator must be detail oriented and possess high attention to detail along with excellent communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Complete structural material takeoffs on Multi-Family Unit, Wood Framed Projects, for use in quotes and in production
• Enter takeoff data and distribute estimates to customers (i.e., contractors)
• Organize, coordinate and track job quotes with sales team
• Work with :
• Salespeople - to timely deliver quotes and close jobs
• Customers - on understanding our quotes and pricing justifications
• Production and shipping department - to meet client expectations for deliveries
• Design department - to resolve hardware questions
• Finance and Management - to solve customer’s material hardware take off discrepancies or additional requests, and continuously improve our processes and procedures
• Other :
• Participate in weekly meetings to coordinate with design, purchasing and estimating to move projects forward and set priorities for shipments
• Creating and updating spreadsheets, forms and reports

Qualifications :

Job Type : Onsite- no relocation allowance.

Salary : $25.00 - $30.00 / hr., depending upon experience
