Position : Urologist Needed in New Haven County, Connecticut

Location : New Haven County, Connecticut

Setting : Outpatient and Inpatient

Salary : Competitive salary with full benefits and a full productivity bonus plan

Call Schedule : TBD

Overview :

Healthcare United is seeking a board-certified urologist to join our team, delivering exceptional inpatient and outpatient care in the fields of general urology and male sexual health

Responsibilities :

Manage both acute and chronic illnesses related to general urology and male sexual health
Prescribe, execute, and analyze diagnostic tests
Perform necessary surgical procedures for diagnosing and treating urological conditions
Collaborate with management, fellow physicians, and staff to enhance care delivery and service
Ensure compliance with billing and coding requirements in coordination with practice management
Work alongside hospital and practice leaders to expand the practice's clinical capabilities and promote its services
Provide on-call coverage for Urology, with a call rotation of 1 : 3

Qualification :

Graduation from an accredited medical school (MD or DO)

Board certification in Urology is required, or board eligibility for new graduates

Possession of a valid and unrestricted Connecticut medical license or the ability to obtain one

Training on minimally invasive robotic surgery strongly preferred

Valid DEA registration and Controlled Substance Certificate
