Senior Security Manager

Leidos Security Operations is seeking a proven, experienced security professional to lead a multi-functional team and manage a portfolio of programs supporting our Cyber & Analytics Business Area. This is an incredible opportunity to apply your leadership and security experience in leading a team of security professionals across multiple locations and providing direction and oversight of security support to SCI programs in support of impactful business operations.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Security oversight and management of trusted security support for multiple contracts ensuring the proper implementing of the industrial security program and ensuring company and customer security requirements are met and exceeded.
• Guide and develop a highly motivated team of industrial security professionals across multiple states and cleared facilities.
• Interface with all levels of Leidos personnel and government officials to ensure contract security compliance.
• Make critical security decisions concerning high value contracts and implement security procedures to prevent unauthorized access.
• Apply risk mitigation in solving complex security challenges.
• Provide clear guidance to company employees and recommend modifications to operations policies or procedures.
• Provide day-to-day oversight and guidance to security personnel in relation to their security program(s), personnel clearance processing, program reviews, document control and security audits.
• Provide oversight and direction on security violation / infraction investigations & reports.
• Provide technical security experience in the following security disciplines : personnel, physical / industrial, computer investigations and operations.
• Prepare and disseminate security requirements, guidance, and procedures.
• Ensure training of security personnel on how to properly create and conduct SCI briefings relevant to specific program missions.
• Collaborate with members of the DoW, IC and other officials to maintain knowledge and understanding of current security requirements.
• Provide guidance to security personnel on how to monitor, update and maintain personnel / program records.
• Effectively coordinate security initiatives or requirements with internal and external security offices and business areas.
• Monitor and manage security operations across the Sector and provide status reports and recommendations to various levels of internal security and business leaders.
• Provide guidance on how to effectively build and maintain a security program.
• Work closely and collaborate with internal and external managers to ensure understanding of program operations.
• Be expected to work extended hours as required.
• Experience in creating and authoring Security Volumes for Request for Proposals.
