divh2Senior Vice President, Environmental Remediation Engineer / h2pWSP is looking for a Senior Vice President, Environmental Remediation Engineer for our California offices with experience in consulting, selling, managing, designing and implementing Environmental Multi-media Remediation programs for a variety of clients in the Industrial, Government, Energy, Oil Gas and Transportation sectors. We are looking for a candidate who is excited and motivated about the opportunity to help expand our environmental consulting business in California and the West. WSPs Oakland office provides a broad range of services in engineering and environmental sciences including environmental assessment and remediation, water / wastewater engineering, water resources, environmental compliance, geotechnical design, stormwater infrastructure design, materials testing, and decision analysis. / ppYour Impact / pulliPerform Business Development within the Oil Gas and Industrial / Commercial Sectors for environmental remediation, engineering and related services / liliPerform Customer Care Lead responsibilities for at least one Oil Gas or Industrial / Commercial client / liliPerform design, oversight, mentorship and direct the efforts of staff- and project-level engineers / liliAssist preparation of technical reports and proposals / liliSuccessfully interact with Service Line Leader, Sector Lead, other Principal and Senior-level employees in the office and firm-wide / liliManage multiple projects, being responsible for ensuring that deliverables, schedules and budgets are achieved / liliTravel to project(s) as needed, for the execution of project goals and business development / liliMeet sales, revenue and delivery goals / li / ulpWho You Are Required Qualifications / pulliBS in Civil, Chemical, Environmental, Geological or related Engineering field / liliConsulting experience with petroleum contamination cleanups in soil and groundwater including free floating products (LNAPL) AND / OR must have chlorinated solvent contamination consulting experience for remediation of soil and groundwater / lili15+ years related environmental remediation and sales experience in California, with direct client account management experience / liliCalifornia (Civil) Professional Engineers License / liliStrong work ethic, must be a self-starter, team oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills / liliStrong Project and Program Management experience / liliPrevious experience working with remediation / assessment projects involving the Regional Quality Water Quality Control Board, DTSC and / or one of the local CUPAs / liliAbility to work with, mentor, and direct engineers and technicians / liliCandidate should have experience with CERCLA, RCRA, DTSC, Water Board and other CalEPA Programs / liliMust have consulting experience in soil gas and vapor intrusion issues / liliDeveloping and managing complex engineering design and design-build projects / liliOversee remedy construction and operation and maintenance of environmental project work / li / ulpPreferred Qualifications : / pulli40-Hour OSHA Health Safety Training (HAZWOPER) (29 CFR 1910.120) preferred. / liliBasic First Aid and Adult CPR training desired. / li / ulpWSP Benefits : WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on providing health and financial stability throughout the employees career.
