We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Staff Engineer to join our Geotechnical Engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with project managers and clients under the supervision of a Professional Engineer. You’ll lead and support a variety of geotechnical projects involving subsurface exploration, foundation design, and construction support — contributing to innovative, practical, and high-quality engineering solutions.

• Key Responsibilities
• Log and classify soils during field investigations
• Conduct geotechnical subsurface evaluations and analyses
• Perform foundation and septic system design calculations
• Create and interpret CAD drawings and figures
• Assist in shoring and retaining structure design
• Oversee laboratory testing, data analysis, and troubleshooting
• Compile, analyze, and interpret geotechnical laboratory data
• Perform advanced geotechnical calculations including lateral earth pressure, settlement, foundation capacity, and deep foundation design
• Qualifications
• Education :
• B.S. or B.A. in Civil, Geotechnical, or Construction Engineering
• Certification :
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI) required; Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred
• Experience :
• 4–10 years of experience in geotechnical or related consulting
• Skills & Attributes

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
