Assistant Child Care Coordinator
New opportunity! Do you enjoy working with children? In this opportunity, you will be a part of a two-person team to operate The Children's Center at Albany County Family Court. This is a daily (M-F) drop in center for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. Children join our center for the time their families attend court business. Responsibilities : Provide assistance to Child Care Coordinators / Teachers in Family Court Centers. Greet and assist families upon arrival and departure following appropriate procedures Assist with questions and paperwork Communicate with families, staff and community members in a professional and positive manner Assist with set-up and breakdown of activates, maintain a clean environment Assist with distributing snacks and help children if needed. Maintain a nurturing and encouraging center environment Arrive to work on-time and be ready to work Assist Child Care Coordinator Create an environment of inclusion and belonging
Requirements : High school diploma is required. Clean & valid NYS driver license. Reliable transportation. Maintain current physical / PPD. Experience working with children and families. Excellent customer service skills. Professional demeanor.
