Description :
The Mental Health Clinician is a member of the multidisciplinary team providing direct treatment and treatment oversight to youth within a residential treatment program. The Clinician will assess youth to understand the unique needs of a child and to collaboratively develop treatment plans targeted to maximize health outcomes. The Clinician will also provide interventions aimed at preventing and minimizing risk factors in youth and may create safety plans used during crisis management. The Clinician performs routine assessment of progress toward goals, modification of treatment planning, and discharge planning.
The qualified candidate will have a Master’s degree in Human Services, such as psychology, social work, counselling psychology or marriage and family therapy, or closely related field. It is preferred that candidates are Licensed or License eligible. The qualified candidate must demonstrate a commitment to family preservation and reunification and understand separation issues and loss experienced by youth in care. The Residential team seeks a candidate that demonstrates an ability to work effectively as a dedicated member of a multidisciplinary team. Valid driver’s license required.
This is a full-time position located in Fitchburg, Massachusetts and will include occasional community-based travel. Work schedule must accommodate the needs of the youth / family. Bilingual / bicultural candidates are encouraged to apply.

Job Location :
The Residential Clinician will work in North Central Massachusetts with access to office space in Fitchburg. Transportation required. Ability to work remotely on occasion.
Salary Range and Benefits :
Independently licensed clinician – Pay Grade : 8C. Salary Range : $67,000 – $77,500.
Non-licensed or license eligible clinician – Pay Grade : 8D. Salary Range : $62,000 – $72,500.
Salary ranges within each pay grade are based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
