Neurological Surgery - Physician

Tenet Healthcare along with DMC Medical Group is actively seeking a BE / BC fellowship-trained spinal neurosurgeon for a full-time, employed opportunity in Detroit, MI. We have a newly appointed, fully accredited, Neuro Critical Care Fellowship program to support our neurosciences programs.

What to Expect / Key Responsibilities :

• Mix of General NS and Spine procedures
• Typical schedule : 3-4 clinic days and 1-2 OR / Procedure / Call days per week
• Shared call with 3 providers – 8 NPs to assist with inpatient rounds 24 / 7
• Specialized Equipment / Resources : PACs on site – attached to hospital
• Working mainly out of the DMC Neurosurgery clinic downtown at Harper Hospital (ACC), Sinai-Grace and Huron Valley
• Supportive ancillary staff available
• Hospital privileges at all 5 DMC facilities
• A willingness to participate in research is welcomed.
