Registered Nurse Job Details

Location : Lebanon, NH 03756 (Upper Valley, New Hampshire healthcare jobs)

Unit : Inpatient Surgical Unit 3D

Start Date : December 22, 2025 (or January 5, 2026)

Assignment Length : 13-week travel RN contract

Shift : 12-hour rotating shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM or 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM)

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

On Call : Yes

Med / Surg RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Hampshire or compact state)

Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience required

Experience with chest tubes, medical drips (Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, amiodarone)

Proficient in managing lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients

Experience with tracheostomies, laryngectomies, and telemetry monitoring

Skilled in complex wound care and central line care / maintenance, including blood draws

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care to adult surgical patients, focusing on orthopedic, trauma, plastics, and general surgery cases

Monitor and manage chest tubes, IV drips, and provide complex wound care

Care for patients with tracheostomies, laryngectomies, and central lines

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to mobilize and rehabilitate patients

Utilize telemetry and perform blood draws as needed

Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards
