About The Position
Medix is partnering with a client facility in Oregon, to secure an experienced and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Crisis Qualified Mental Health Clinician (QMHC) certification for a travel assignment starting at the beginning of October for 26-52 weeks! This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician to make a significant impact by providing essential crisis intervention and standard outpatient behavioral health services in a supportive community setting.
Job Responsibilities

Start Date : Beginning of October / Early November
Length of Assignment : 26-52 Weeks (Contract with potential for Contract-to-Hire)
Schedule : Five 8-hour shifts per week, with a start time between 7 : 00 AM and 9 : 00 AM.
State License Needed : Oregon (OR)
Pay : Specific pay rates and potential stipends will be discussed with your recruiter to align with your experience and the assignment's details.
Responsibilities :
The primary focus of this role is to provide both crisis intervention and general outpatient therapy services. You will be part of a rotating team responsible for covering a wide radius within the county. Applicants should be comfortable :
Participating in a rotating on-call schedule for crisis intervention approximately one week every 3-4 months.
Responding to crisis calls, typically averaging 1 per week, with a maximum of 2-3.
Traveling up to 1.5 hours each way for crisis calls within the county. A company vehicle is provided strictly for crisis calls.
Working as part of a two-person team when responding to crisis calls.
Conducting standard individual and / or group therapy sessions during non-crisis periods and scheduled outpatient days
Performing follow-up activities with potential crisis clients and manage other general outpatient duties.
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation using the Epic-based behavioral health EMR.

Job Requirements
Active Oregon (OR) State License.
Must be a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) .
Current CPR certification is required. Certification can be obtained on-site at a cost if not already held.
