Logistics Specialist (IL)
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing and executing customer vehicle relocation service orders and supporting business operations. This role requires effective communication through email and telephone with staff, independent contractors, and pickup and delivery contacts, as well as maintaining accurate data in CRM systems. Responsibilities include managing the execution of customer orders, overseeing the accurate and timely completion of additional services, communicating promptly via email, telephone, and CRM with staff, independent contractors, and delivery contacts, updating CRM activities and notes promptly, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, calculating and offering flat fees on orders, managing the storage facility, checking vehicles in and out, moving vehicles in and out of the lot, and accounting for all cars on the lot.
Essential Skills include the ability to learn and utilize all company systems and equipment, providing exceptional customer service, monitoring and managing team dashboard, demonstrating effective time management, and responding confidently and decisively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications include a high school diploma, experience managing multiple projects, advanced computer skills, strong communication skills, and minimum of 6 months of customer service experience.
Work Environment is on-site with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The role offers the opportunity to work for a fast-growing fleet transport company, with potential for growth and development in a women-owned business.
Pay and Benefits range from $20.00 to $22.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.
