The Role

As an Ocean Import Specialist, you will play a key role in managing the end-to-end import process for ocean freight shipments. You will work closely with clients, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and compliant operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to join a forwarder that offers growth, stability, and the chance to develop within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage ocean import shipments from origin to final delivery
• Prepare and review import documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. Customs regulations
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and overseas agents to track and trace shipments
• Handle ISF filings, customs entries, and related documentation
• Monitor shipments and resolve any exceptions or delays
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
• Support the wider operations team as needed
