Job Title : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)Job Specialty : Respiratory CareJob Duration : Not specifiedShift : 12-hour nightsGuaranteed Hours : 36 hours per weekExperience : Not specifiedLicense : Must have a current state license for Respiratory Care PractitionersCertifications : - Basic Life Support (BLS) required- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required within 6 months for certain departments- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Stable preferred but not requiredMust-Have : - Graduation from a respiratory therapy program- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)- Ability to be on call- Ability to lift 30 poundsJob Description : - Provide care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes- Conduct bedside diagnostic procedures as needed- Review and maintain respiratory care plans- Perform evaluations on patients and adjust care accordingly- Serve as a preceptor for students and new hires- Ensure all certifications and licenses are current and maintained
