This competitive immersion program is an unpaid internship that will support the fulfillment of your clinical rotations within your defined clinical program and is open to Nurse Practitioner students from UNLV in Las Vegas NV. This immersion program is designed to support clinical rotations throughout our multispecialty clinics, while experiencing population health and value-based care in a primary care setting.

Southwest Medical, part of Optum, is a multi-specialty group of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants at clinical locations including health care centers, urgent care clinics, convenient care centers and an outpatient surgery center. Required Qualifications :

• Active enrollment in the UNLV NP Program.
• Current official transcript.
• Located in the Las Vegas metro area, or willing to self-relocate for the duration of clinical rotations necessary.
