Plumbing Manager

Job Summary

We're hiring a hands-on leader to manage our Greensboro plumbing service teams. The Plumbing Manager will spend roughly 80% office / 20% field time. Duties include coordinating schedules with the CSR team, ensuring high-quality workmanship, handling customer escalations, pulling permits, and developing technicians.

This role primarily supervises and coordinates and will contribute to goal and target-setting conversations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop individual plumbers (performance management, training plans, career progression).
• Partner with CSR team to manage scheduling and dispatch to maximize productivity and first-time fixes.
• Conduct job site inspections, ride along with technicians, and sign off on permits and closeouts.
• Own customer escalations — investigate issues, propose remedies, and restore customer satisfaction.
• Ensure work is completed to code and company quality standards; coordinate permitting and inspections.
• Maintain and improve SOPs for installations, service workflows, and technician onboarding.
• Support inventory oversight and ensure techs have required parts / tools; escalate procurement issues.
• Promote and enforce a safety conscious culture — lead toolbox talks and ensure compliance with safety policies in the Handbook and OSHA best practices.
• Maintain accurate field documentation.
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding.
