Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled  Pet Care Social Media Manager  to develop, implement, and manage our social media presence across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate understands pet care trends, engages with our pet-loving audience authentically, and drives brand awareness and client engagement through compelling content.

Responsibilities

Create, schedule, and publish engaging social media content tailored to various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).

Develop a social media calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, promotions, and seasonal events.

Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.

Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to improve engagement and reach.

Collaborate with the grooming and customer service teams to source content ideas and share client stories.

Stay current on pet care trends, social media best practices, and competitor activities.

Manage paid social media advertising campaigns when applicable.

Maintain brand voice and ensure consistency across all digital content.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience managing social media accounts, preferably in pet care or related industries.

Strong written communication and creative content creation skills.

Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later).

Ability to analyze performance data and generate actionable insights.

Passion for pets and understanding of pet care topics and communities.

Self-motivated, organized, and able to work remotely with minimal supervision.

Proficient in graphic design or video editing tools is a plus (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with social media advertising and boosting posts.

Photography or videography skills related to pet content.

Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing basics.

Experience working in a small business or family-run environment.

Compensation

Pay Rate :  $22.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience.
