Staff Accountant - AP / AR

Finance Analyst

Analyze financial data to guide strategic decision-making. Lead or assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis efforts. Optimize accounting systems and streamline processes. Provide audit support and ensure compliance with internal controls. Mentor and train client accounting teams when needed.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience; consulting / project-based experience a plus. Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.). Experience with accounting platforms like QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple client engagements. Must be based in or willing to commute to Louisville, KY.
