Marine And Family Services Program Manager
Help develop and recommend policies to the commanding officer relating to the welfare of Marines and their families.
Establish / maintain liaison with other military and civilian human services agencies to ensure service delivery / information sharing.
Direct / develop / perform management operations that involve planning / reviewing / coordinating / analyzing / evaluating the services required to support military personnel / retirees / family members.
Direct an annual budget of several million dollars.
Provide a full range of advisory services, guidance and assistance in all matters to better accomplish the goals and functions of the Marine and Family Services (MFS) Branches.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

This position is considered Key / Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

You must possess a mental health provider clinical license at the independent practitioner level by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and / or unusual duty hours may be required.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : Providing technical expertise in developing, planning, implementing, coordinating all Marine & Family services (MFS) programs related to readiness; develop policies and procedures; and formulating and executing budgets for funding.
Applicants must meet the following Basic Requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual : Applicants must possess : Degree : behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position. Or Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. Or Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
