Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee multifamily and commercial renovation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the construction project, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and on-site personnel, ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Monitor progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, ensuring that their needs are met and any issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all aspects of the project, including budgets, schedules, and materials.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in multifamily and commercial renovations.Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.Working knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.Highly organized with excellent time management skills.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.Benefits
