A school-based program is seeking a Substitute Paraprofessional to provide instructional and behavioral support during temporary assignments. The role helps maintain a safe and structured learning environment for all students.

Responsibilities / Duties :

Support teachers with classroom management and instruction

Assist individual students or small groups with academic and behavioral needs

Monitor and document student participation, behavior, and progress

Assist with classroom routines, transitions, and organization

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety protocols

Complete fingerprinting and background checks prior to placement

Qualifications / Desired Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred

Experience as a paraprofessional, instructional aide, or childcare provider preferred

Strong interpersonal, communication, and observation skills

Dependable and adaptable for daily or short-term assignments

Willing to complete required fingerprinting and background checks

Hours are not guaranteed and shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis according to school needs.

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $48.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
