Job description

Overview

AH-64 Aircraft Mechanic II at Yulista Holding LLC — on-site / off-site maintenance and flight / Functional Check Flight operations to support the US Army Flight Test Directorate (AFTD) at Redstone Arsenal, AL. Work is performed in accordance with current Army directives, including AR 95-1 and AR 95-20.

Location : Huntsville, AL

Responsibilities

  • Provide aviation maintenance and repair services, including developmental and operational test and evaluation support, to include testing of aircraft, aviation systems and related support equipment.
  • Perform on-site / off-site maintenance flight operations and Functional Check Flights as required; complete maintenance test flights on AFTD aircraft; fault isolation and troubleshooting; manage internal contractor pilot and non-rated crewmember flight records.
  • Conduct organizational / intermediate level maintenance tasks as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Experience in safety, documentation, HAZMAT handling, training / licenses / certifications, scheduling, production control and management.
  • Analytical ability combined with knowledge and application of assurance principles and techniques.
  • Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have an FAA A&P license or have completed a military aircraft repairer school for AH-64A / D.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in aircraft maintenance or 4 years of verifiable RDT&E experience in rotary wing aircraft; Army Aviation maintenance is required.
  • Must have Military installation DEPOT level maintenance experience.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
